DISCOVER AND DANCE
Discover and Dance is a unique and original early childhood dance program where students learn the foundations of dance while developing cognitively and socially. Dancers take their first steps towards “classroom skills” necessary for school, such as taking turns, following directions, listening, sharing, and communicating needs and feelings. Four levels are offered in this program, “Tiny Tots” – 2 1/2 yrs, “Preschool Combo 1” – 3 yrs., “Preschool Combo 2” – 4 yrs., and “Kinder – 1st Grade”.
MAIN DANCE DIVISION
The main dance division is designed for students looking for a recreational dance program. Enhanced concentration, coordination, and discipline are just a few of the skills learned at The Dream Center that will help foster a healthy mind and body. Throughout all levels of instruction, we employ Ballet, jazz, tap, hip-hop, lyrical/contemporary (4th grade+), Acrobatics and Musical Theater. Advancement depends on age and student progression. The Dream Center wants to make sure every student enjoys dancing; while at the same time receives a high level of training. All students enrolled in the Main Dance Division have the opportunity to perform in our end of the year recital.
COMPETITIVE DIVISION
The Competitive Dance Division is designed for the most serious dancer. Placement into the company is by audition only, and requires a great deal of time, energy and dedication. Company dancers compete both regionally and Nationally, and perform in many community events and festivals. The Dream Center offers two levels for the competitive dancer, Program A and Program B.
